Hip Harry was created for the university newspaper, The Mercer Cluster in 1975. and turned out to be popular on campus. T-shirts, hats and sweatshirts were silk screened with Harry's image and worn by many. Corey spent the next few years developing the whole Hip Harry family of characters.
